Delivery & Returns & D.O.A Procedure

Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Delivery Charges

All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges which will be added to the price of the products at our checkout. Delivery prices quoted are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) will incur additional charges (e-mail us for a quotation) and may also experience delivery delays. AM/PM and Saturday deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges. These can be obtained upon application. Deliveries and collections are not made on bank holidays.

In the event of a consignment failing delivery due to the customer not being at home or has failed to collect consignment from courier depot the item will be returned to the sender, Seymour Aquatics at the expense of the store. To retrieve items ordered the customer will have to pay the return postage as well as the cost of the shipment being returned to us.

Items weighing over 30kg in total may incur additional delivery charges. Orders for outside the mainland UK are subject to additional charges on weight. This will be notified to you, the customer, should this arise. You will be notified of this eventuality via email or by telephone.

Next day delivery is actually the next working day delivery and does not include Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. There can be a Saturday morning delivery arranged but this is at a premium delivery charge. Live items for next day delivery cannot be despatched on a Friday, they will be held till the following Monday unless a Saturday morning delivery premium is paid. All orders received prior to 1pm will be despatch the same day. Orders received after that time will be held over for despatch the following working day. Carriers collect from this store before 1600 hrs daily. We reserve the right to alter and amend our delivery charges at any point.

 

Returns and Refunds

Should you wish to return an item purchased from Seymour Aquatics Ltd for any reason it is imperative that you contact us as soon as possible detailing the reason you wish to return the item. All items that we send out will have been checked for contents and to make sure they are not in any way damaged before they leave us. Should your item arrive broken and this appears to have happened in transit please make the delivery driver aware of this if possible and take some photographic evidence if possible.

Refunds because i opted to collect in store & thought it was free delivery!

If you purchase a item & opt for the COLLECT IN STORE option & it is intended for DELIVERY any persons wanting a refund because there not willing to pay delivery costs will be charged any paypal fee's seymour aquatics accured. This my be upto 25% of the purchase price.

D.O.A Procedure ( Mail Order only)

 

Dead on Arrival:In the unlikely event that your Livestock are dead on arrival, please follow the returns procedure:

     

     

  1. The livestock must have been signed for on the 1st attempt,if not there will be no claim

  2. Inform us Immediatly and within 1-hour of accepting the delivery.Shop telephone number is 01642 613500

  3. Ensure you have several clear photo's of dead Item(s) in its unopened bag, Mobile Phone Photo's are Accetable

  4. Submit photo's to us; 

     

    Only when you have submitted your photo's and recieved confirmation that we have recieved them, you may dispose of the damaged goods,if u dispose of any goods before we conclude our investigation your claim will be void & there will be no further claim

    Shop purchase livestock g'tee

    All our live stock comes with a 48hr g'tee ,to make a claim on this the following needs to be followed

    1) We need the original reciept for the purchase.
    2) We need a body of the animal. no body no claim.
    3) We need a water sample(to check all your levels).
    4) If the prams are found to be of a dangerous level no refund will be issued(but advice will be given to help solve this problem).
    5) In the event of a succesfull claim you will be offered a full refund or a replacement of your choice.

 Faulty Goods (Within 30 Days)

Should your product arrive and appear faulty or broken please let us know immediately. You have the right to return the product within a reasonable period of time, keep hold of all the warranty information for your product and your original purchase invoice.
